A Bit About Me...

I have lived in Mosgiel, Otago all my life and have always enjoyed working with my hands creatively. I began painting a few years ago, with acrylics and oils although I mostly use oil on boxed canvas.
The Otago Art Society accepted me as an ‘Artist Member’ in 2010 and I have exhibited in several of their exhibitions. I was awarded third place in the Dunedin Inter-national Airport Art Awards 2011.
I enjoy painting a wide variety of subjects, from landscapes in and around Otago, especially Central Otago, and including buildings and vehicles. My own children have also made it onto the odd canvas.
I work mostly from photographs and I’m always on the lookout for a great scene to paint!
